To raise awareness of Amazon's pet product range, a competition ran across Instagram to get pet owners to share images of their furry friends for a change to become the Face of Amazon Pets 2019. The competition mechanic was simple, draw attention to the competition by using paid Influencers and PR, then get contestants to photograph, follow & hashtag to enter.
Behind the scenes, I organised a photoshoot with celebrity dancer, judge and known animal lover, Ashley Roberts, to capture shareable press imagery and hold exclusive interviews with key consumer titles. Each interview had a CTA to enter the competition and head over to Amazon's e-commerce site.
Competition entrants were placed into different categories based on what pet they owned and in each category there was a winner who was gifted vouchers to use on Amazon. We also had the overall winner, Creme Brulee, who became the Face of Amazon Pets 2019.
