Sonos Brand Awareness in Italy

For this project, I was tasked with helping leading smart speaker brand, Sonos, speak to a wider lifestyle audience in Italy. Already popular amongst tech consumers, I needed to find a way to get primarily female consumers and lifestyle journalists in touch with the brand.

For this project I created a lifestyle event that would be showcased in the relaxed setting of a penthouse apartment in media hotspot; Milan, during which upcoming chefs @Gnambox (141K) would perform a live cooking show. 

 

The show was soundtracked by Sonos speakers installed around the apartment sounding a playlist created by our chefs. During the cooking, the chefs also linked their recipe choices to Sonos' Brilliant Sound Survey pointing out how sound & food both have important and positive effects on human behaviour. 

I wanted to use talent who could speak to our online audiences, and a location that was extremely 'Instagrammable' for Influencers and media who attended. This ensured that lots of content was captured and shared across social channels. 

I styled the apartment myself using my passion for interiors and understanding of Sonos' brand aesthetic. This space provided an environment where we could connect with media and Influencers, and capture beautiful product shots using our photographer.

RESULTS

I styled the apartment myself, using my passion for interiors and knowledge of Sonos' brand aesthetics to create an environment that excited our lifestyle journalists and enabled them to see how Sonos was not just a tech but also a lifestyle brand.
